Celebrity Style Crushes

It may come as a surprise to some of up you that I LOVE all things fashion related, so I thought I would share with you all the celebrity's who's style I love, and think slightly represents my own. I hope you guys enjoy...

1. Kylie and Kendall Jenner
I personally love Kylie and Kendall's style, even though they are very different, both on and off the red carpet, I constantly check their instagram feed for style inspiration. Also, like these famous sisters, I love a statement lip!

2. Selena Gomez
Selena's style is really classy and elegant on the red carpet and I love all of the dresses she wears, here are a few of my favorites....

3. Cara Delevingne
Who doesn't want this girls job honestly, I adore Cara's off duty model style which has a slight rock chick edge too it, I also love her messy styled hair!

4. Taylor Swift
I love Taylor's dressed down preppy but elegant and yet sophisticated wardrobe as much as her flawless red carpet gowns, her style is really cute, as well as being grown up and ladylike

Simple Golden Smoky Eye

Today I thought I would try to use more of the colors in my naked pallet, as i seem to use the same ones all the time
I created this look using 3 colours, Half baked, Chopper and YDK. I don't usually tend to use them as i don't think they suit my eye color very well, however, i ended up really loving this look!

1. I first used Half baked- a really pigmented gold color in the inner corners of my eyes, and blended outward towards the center of my eye
2.I then blended chopper a slightly more bronze shade over the center of my lid

3. In the outer corners of my lid and underneath my eye I used YDK, and then used the urban decay blending brush to blend all of the colors together

4. To fill in my brows I used my illamasqua brow cake in the shade 'Stark' which is a reddy brown color, and then use the maybelline brow drama in the shade 'medium brown' to set my brows in place

5. To finish off my Eye look I used my current favorite mascara- the Benefit ' They're real!' to give my lashes more volume and length

And this is the finished look, I also added some of my favorite Kate Moss Red lipstick in the shade 111 (kiss of life) and a Revlon Lip butter in the shade 'Candy Apple' to make it a bit more interesting. I hope that you guys like this look, have a good weekend and i will try to post again soon!

January Wishlist

Seen as how it is coming towards the end of January so I have decided to do a wishlist, to spend those last few Christmas pounds and treat my self a little!

1. I have been crushing on the Naked palettes by Urban Decay for the longest time, last year I caved and bought the Naked 2 palette and now I am SO tempted to buy the others!

 2. Recently I have reading about the Yourtea Tiny Tea tox and have read incredible things about it! (the day i posted this i actually bought some, my willpower = 0)

3. I have been fighting urges to buy a mac lipstick for ages now, so I will probably end up buying one in the end, my all time favorite shade to wear on lips is red, and the shade 'Diva' has been catching my eye recently...

4. This year I have taken up a few forms of exercise, and I am so glad that I did! When I first started HiiT class and running last year i bought a pair of cheap puma running shoes, and whilst I love them they are not what you wold class as 'stylish' a.k.a they are very ugly. Hence, I have included a pair of Nike running shoes..

So there we go,  very short january wish list, my wages are gong to disappear VERY quickly this month

Favourite hair care products

Firstly an apology is in order as I have absent from blogging for a week or two now so to make up for it I thought I would share with your guys my favorite hair care products!

To start I absolutely love the John Frieda frizz ease range, as my hair is naturally dry, course and really curly. The 3 Day straight and the shine serum are my go to products for combating frizz and leaving my hair really smooth

I also love using hair masks, my favorite at the moment are the treseme ones, the last time I bought them they were on offer in Asda reduced to £3 from £5. They leave my hair really soft and silky whilst keeping it in great condition. Different types of hair masks are obviously for different things so check before you buy!
If you are looking to grow your hair, try the lee stafford hair mask 'for hair that never grows past a certain length', over time it really does help your hair to grow, but if not it still helps to keep your hair looking great!

Another genius product I have been loving recently is Argan oil, I usually buy it from Avon, but you can buy Argan oil or other related products from most drugstores.

If volume is what your looking for try a volumizing powder, just sprinkle the powder onto your finger tips, rub together and then massage into the roots of your hair for instant volume. I love it for parties when my hair needs more vavavoom.

I hope this post has been helpful in some way or form, let me know in the comments if you have tried any of these products and what you think of them too! Thanks for reading!

Reflecting on 2013

Reflecting on the past year has been very worthwhile for me, at a first glance my year was absolutely awful for people close to me and myself. However, this blog has given me an opportunity to remember all the great things that last year brought me, so I thought I would share a few with you all.

  • For me this year has been full of amazing parties from January to December, which have resulted in some of the funniest memories i have
  • I spent a lot more time with my family, which strengthened my relationships and brought us all closer together
  • I became closer with some amazing people, that I couldn't imagine not having in my life now
  • I grew stronger as a person, the ups and downs of last year have made me so much more appreciative of my friends and family, and of life in general
  • I became a senor student at school, which gave me more confidence in my abilities
  • I realized what I wanted to do with the rest of my life- a huge step forward for me
I also thought that I wold include some things that I am lookin forward too in 2014, just to lighte the mood
  • Going on holiday
  • 6th form leavers ball
  • Getting my A2 results
  • Interviews with universities
  • Going to see Rizzle Kicks
  • My 18th birthday, and most of my friends 18th birthdays
I hope everyone had a fabulous 2013, and wish everybody the best for 2014. I have a feeling its going to be a good one!

New Years Resolutions

I am not going to do one of those cheesy 'new year, new me' posts, but I personally believe that the start of a new year is an excellent time to make positive changes to how you live your life! Here are some resolutions that I am planning on sticking too this year!

1. Doing more exercise
Being healthy is something that's really important, and I currently don't feel as if I do enough exercise, this year I plan on taking up more exercise classes

2. Eating healthier
This doesn't mean that I plan on giving up chocolate and crisps completely, but I eat way too much fatty food and not enough good stuff, so that has to change

3. Saving money
I buy way too much stuff I don't need, and hardly ever save money, so I plan to change that immediately

4. Being more motivated towards school work
I seriously lack motivation towards school at the minuet so this year, being my last at school, I really need to knuckle down

Obviously I have other resolutions that I want to fulfill, but I think these are the main four form me, and probably the most common for everyone. I hope everyone has had a fabulous New Year's Eve and I wish everyone the best for the new year!
